Amy served in the US Navy for 15 years. Her career shift to psychology was driven by the passion to help others as she has been helped herself. She is life experienced and brings much skill, compassion and knowledge to her counselling practice. She values a person-centered and collaborative working relationships with her clientele.
Amy works with presenting issues with individuals 12 years of age and older with presenting issues such as:
Anger Management, Anxiety, Depression, Self- Harm, Self-Esteem, Family and Peer Relationship Wellness, stress management and grief.

Her motivation is strengthened through her own life experiences and witnessing firsthand the healing power of compassion and the recognition of individual differences, as well as the shared human condition, which is naturally imperfect.
Shauna knows that every person, life story, and situation is unique. That is why her approach to counselling is client-dependent and flexible. It is collaborative, and draws from Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Shauna prioritizes respect, authenticity, curiosity, non-judgement, acceptance, and care in her relationship with clients.
